SlimBook uses Facebook's WebLite interface which delivers lightweight server-rendered HTML. A small JavaScript filter identifies and hides unwanted content by text patterns, running continuously via MutationObserver to catch new content as it arrives.

No tracking. No analytics. No data sent to third parties. All communication is between your device and Facebook's servers.

What’s new

• Fixed: header back arrow and search icon were unresponsive on Android 15

Facebook's page header was being drawn underneath the system status bar, so
taps on the back arrow and search icon were going to the system bar instead of
the page. This affected Android 15 devices after the previous release. The page
header now sits below the status bar and its controls are tappable again.

How to install

  1. Download the APK from the button at the top of this page.
  2. Allow “Install unknown apps” for your browser or file manager only, not for every app.
  3. Open the downloaded file and confirm the installation.
  4. If installation fails with “App not installed,” remove an earlier build of the same app first. A signature conflict is the usual cause.
