LWIt is a free app that makes it easy to get fresh new wallpapers on your phone or tablet on a daily basis. It's a plugin for Muzei, which is an Android live wallpaper app, by Roman Nurik and Ian Lake. Since Reddit changed API access rules we need a Reddit API auth for each user.

Whatโ€™s new

* add share image command in Muzei
* add tooltips for most buttons
* add preview subreddits activity
* cache submissions and image information
* show obfuscated images when NSFW not allowed
* add thumbnail width preference
* import ARAW library code
* update toggle for subreddits
* don't request a Reddit API at startup

How to install

  1. Download the APK from the button at the top of this page.
  2. Allow โ€œInstall unknown appsโ€ for your browser or file manager only, not for every app.
  3. Open the downloaded file and confirm the installation.
  4. If installation fails with โ€œApp not installed,โ€ remove an earlier build of the same app first. A signature conflict is the usual cause.

Data safety

  • Every file is checked against its published SHA-256 before it is listed.
  • Files are scanned for malware on every update.
  • The permissions each app requests are listed on its own page.
  • Read the full safety policy for how we test, flag, and delist files.
