Android's file picker (DocumentsUI) resets sort order every time you navigate into a folder. This Xposed module persists your sort preference across directories and sessions.
Features:
Tap a sort option to set the global default
Long-press a sort option to save per-folder preference
Per-folder overrides take priority over global default
Requires LSPosed framework, Android 11+ and root access.

Updating from 3.0.0 still needs one force stop of the file picker.
How to install
Download the APK from the button at the top of this page.
Allow “Install unknown apps” for your browser or file manager only, not for every app.
Open the downloaded file and confirm the installation.
If installation fails with “App not installed,” remove an earlier build of the same app first. A signature conflict is the usual cause.

Every file is checked against its published SHA-256 before it is listed.
Files are scanned for malware on every update.
